I think it’s troubling how big companies seem to use the legal arena just as much as the market itself to make money. It seems like fabricating invention through the legal process is a tried and true strategy to squeeze out profits if you’re big enough to manipulate the legal system.
Gregor, I kind of agree. How can a shade of purple possibly be proprietary? It’s similar to the story of Amazon and how they patented the one click checkout process. I know with small companies it’s considered common knowledge that it’s only a matter of time before you get sued by larger companies if you’re successful enough.
